Activia Light!

you know what, i haven't done a yogurt review, ever! ok well i guess this is the first one! There are a slew of light yogurts on the market, some good some, ehh, not as much. What more is that they seem to come in loads of "special" features like "crave control" with extra fiber and some exclusivly low carb (yet higher in fat...). Alas, a new yogurt has been born from dannon's activia line which boasts helping you digestive tract and according to dannon, its a "probiotic dairy drink to help strengthen the body's immune system". Sounds good, ok lets review the nutrtionals: a four ounce serving is 70 calories, with no fat, three grams of fiber, five grams of protein, and 8 grams of sugar. I thought the calorie count was sorta high for 4 oz serving, as dannon's light n'fit has only 40 calories for the same size. But, activia does boast more protein and fiber so this may fill you up more. Taste wise, its ok, but to be honest, i prefer light n'fit. There isn't much of a difference since they are both sweetened with splenda, but this tasted more yougurt-y if that makes any sense. i tried the strawberry flavor but it was not strong although dont get me wrong, this yogurt is not terrible. I guess if you are in search of more probiotic sources in your diet, this is a good choice, but i wont be buying this again, despite its special feature.
