Aidell's Mini Chicken Apple Sausages!

I know, i haven't actually done a review in a while, but culinary school is very grueling and keeps me supe busy. anyhow, really close to my culinary school is a Gelsons market where i often grab a quick bite before class starts (they have THE BEST ready-made take out food! seriously. their chicken tenders should be awarded!). Anyhow, i was browsing the aisles, procrastinating (because i should have been studying for my soup and sauce test) and sampled aidell's mini chicken and apple sausages. Each serving (5 sausages) is 100 calories, 8 g fat (of it 2.5 saturated), 16 g protien, and 370 mg sodium. Really, these are very  nutritionally sound compared to most sausages with less sodium and less saturated fat and no sugar (it does have fruit juice concentrate for that "apple" flavor). Anyhow, they are also cute ad scream of fifties cocktail parties. but it all comes down to the taste....well, i've hade better sausages but these aren't bad. couldn't really taste the apple, but it did have a nice smoky flavor and i think your average person wouldn't have known it was chicken.  Minis are cute but as i've said, ive had better, more flavor full sausages. So maybe if iam in the mood for theme party, ill get these with some toothpicks. lean cocktial weenies, just what every party needs.
