Back to Nature Cherry Pecan Bar!

Actually, this bar is a "Trail Mix" bar. Its the newest one from back to nature.  Back to nature is a well know health food company that is actaully based in Pasedena, CA (where my culinary school is located).  Interesting, maybe i'll pop by there sometime before class. anyhow, they have freaky ads though (you know the ones with kanagroos dressed like humans?). Anyhow, back to the bar right? well this bar (weiging in at 28g) is 120 calories, 5 g fat (1g saturated), 2 g fiber, 2 g protien, and 8 g sugars.  It has no HFCS's, hydrogenated oil, or artificial preservatives.  Not bad, but i like snack bars to tout a little more protien or fiber.  Well, it was all shiny so i had a feeling it would taste super sweet. And, it sorta did. the cherries were boldly tart which and maybe too much.  This was also sticky which kinda irritates me about bars because i dont feel i should need a napkin to eat an on-the-go product like this. Ehh, a bit unimpressed. I haven't seen many cherry flavored things so if you have cherry obsession you might like this. but it was too sticky, too sweet, and not very filling. Send this one back to nature alright.
