Sierra Mist Free Cranberry Splash!

I know the pic is of the regular cranberry splash, but i guess this product is so new that they havent updated it's info about it on their website. Let me clarify that i did try the FREE (aka sugar free version). Anyhow, this elixir is apparenly seasonal (for thanksgiving?) so dont expect this to be around forever. I like sierra mist free, it never tastes artificial and i prefer it to 7up. This cranberry doesn't really ring to hard of cranberries, i mean, its there but subtle. If you told me it was cherry sierra mist, i would have believed it.

Caramel Cream Pepsi Jazz!

Remeber my review of the Pepsi Jazz line that came out in August of last year, yea well i wasnt pleased. Nonethless, when i spotted this new soda at the market, i was hopeful that Pepsi would come up with a good Jazz flavor. But to be honest, its just vanilla diet pepsi with a caramel cream label. i tasted no caramel flavor and i tried beleived me, i tried to think of the pepsi factory workers mixing chunks of caramel into the mix to try to bring out the claimed flavor out of this. But sadly, yes, the caramel cream is merely a costume. Maybe I shoudl just try diet pepsi with a shot of caramel Sugar-free Torani syrup?

Diet Pepsi Slurpee!

The Slurpee is quite the invention! not really a drink, not really food, not really a shake, not really much of anything except nostaglia of the 7-11 store where it came from and tons of sugar and ice. Well fear not, (the sugar, that is) because there IS a lighter altnernative. Diet Pepsi ditched their cans and bottles and took over those tumbly slurpee machines at various 7-11 stores. Actually, some stores even offer crystal light slurpee but be wary of those because a 12oz DOES have about 50 calories, and i dont know about you but all their "GULP" sizes go as high as 40oz! But this is a pepsi review which is 0 calories per any oz serving (including big-gulp, double-gulp, triple-gulp, and Super-Duper-Gulp-so-big-that-you-need-a little-gulp-to-fully-complete-this-gulp). Well its pretty tasty at first when the slush is fresh and all the pepsi flavoring is evenly distributed. after about 10 min or so, the taste begins to sink, and slight artificial aftertaste becomes a little more prevalent, and i generally get sick of this drink. I'd say its a nice refresher for a hot day, but a just a little because a lot of this stuff makes you feel sorta icky and it loses its deliciousness. so stick to a mini-gulp, if they even have that, or BYOSG (Bring Your Own Shot Glass).

Jazz (not bebop) Cola!

This summer Pepsi maybe felt pressure from all the new diet sodas (like the black cherry vanilla kiss diet coke and the diet dr. pepper berries and cream) and cam out with diet pepsi strawberries and cream (and vanilla black cherry although i haven't tried that one yet...). At first, I kind of liked it. It didnt taste like strawberries, but there is definetly a smooth, cream type flavor. Honestly, it sort of tasted like gummie bears. It was ok, but i admit, i was sort of sick of the flavor of it after I was half way through the bottle. Its defiently better than regular diet pepsi but I cant drink much of this stuff without getting tired of the flavor. However, other bloggers have somewhat different opinions like on i ate a pie (http://www.iateapie.net/reviews/archives/2006/08/diet_pepsi_jazz.php) and BevNet (http://www.bevnet.com/reviews/Pepsi_Jazz/). So if you're feeling up to it and have a buck twenty five to shell out at your local 7 eleven, go ahead and try it, but i cant promise a delicious soda out of it
