For those unfamiliar with Carb-a-whey, it's a really low calorie soft serve usually sold in frozen yogurt shops. BUT.....my friend recently purchased a soft serve maker (a small one, mind you, from cuisinart) and so we found it a perfect oppertunity to purchase the carb-a-whey mix online and try it making it ourselves. Heres the nutritional deal: carb-a-whey zero has only 5 or 6 calories per oz (depending on the base you buy), made with whey protien and lactose free. I am OBSESSED with it when i buy it from my local frozen yogurt shop. Sometimes, they come in ass tasting flavors like "egg nog" and "pumpkin pie"(seasonal stuff and yogurt just dont mix if you ask me). But some AMAZING flavors are the chocolate peanut butter, chocolate pecan turtle, heath bar, and butterscotch. I was so excited to actually make it myself, hoping it would taste like the kinds i buy from the shop. I ordered the chocolate mix with the peanut butter flavoring. i must say, i was very mad at the company i bought this from (softservedepot.com) because it tooke them four weeks!!! peanut butter was out, according to their email, so i got it late....grrr. anyhow, i made it, which was actually a lot of fun, and it did indeed taste like the kind i buy, only maybe a little softer. Its fun, but the flavors they sell online are limited so i like going to the store and exploring new ones. If your interested, visit
