Luna has been supplying my go-to snack bar since i was in ninth grade when my friend introduced me to them. I've tried all sorts over the years, but still my favorite remain lemonzest and the discontinued PB&J (why did they do that?!). Anyhow, i was a bit excited to see a new flavor on the shelf, and being a bit chill-laxed (yes, my lingo for chill and relaxed) this weekend since my baking class is over with, I was more vulnerable to impulse buy. Anyhow, each bar is 190 caloires with 5 g fat, 27 g carbs, 5 g fiber, 13 g sugars, and 9 g protein. a little higher in fat than your average luna bar, but not bad for a bar. Its also got a good dose of vitamins and calcium, a definite plus. Here are the good things about the bar, its big, and looks like a giant brownie with white chocolate beautifully drizzled on top!Defiently not like most bars which look despite their good taste, tend to look like chewed up and spit out cherrios. Its very Chocolate-y, covering the bottom and top. It tastes ok, but i really didn't get this raspberry very much. It does hint of it, but it more of an after taste, a long after taste actually (i took a bite a few min ago and its kicking in...now!). Not very sweet, actually a bit bitter so maybe good for die hard dark chocolate fans. Overall, not my favorite but a good brownie alternative, then again, there really isn't anything better than a moist brownie? I miss the PB and J one! maybe I'll write luna a letter, who's with me?
