Dagoba Chocolate Chai!

Loyal nutritious junk readers know how I’m an infamous chocoholic (daddy’s from Belgium, so its innate). And for those that know me even better (as in, you’re my friend on facebook) know I actually have a whole album dedicated to my choholism. So I am naturally quick to try new, cutting edge chocolates. Hence I give you Dagoba organic chai chocolate. They come in two ounce bars and an ounce serving (this is cool, because I’m prone to finish the whole bar, so I just double the facts to figure how much I’m really eating) has 148 calories, 9g fat, 16g carbs, 1 g fiber (but I wouldn’t replace your all bran for this), 14 g sugars, and 2 g protein. VERY decent for chocolate that tends to be loaded with mysterious ingredients (palm oil, HFCS, etc) cough, cough, hershey’s cough, cough.  I must say, even with the chai infusion, oddly enough I really like this bar. Although its made with milk chocolate, its inused with chai spices and crystallized ginger which I’m usually not a big fan of. But all these intense flavors, with the usually too sweet for my taste milk chocolate, creates a lovely concerto of delciousness. You can find these bars in gourmet grocery stores, online, and even select major supermarket chains. Looks like my recovery from chocoholism is far from reach, but some how, that doesn’t sound so awful.
