This is going to sound dumb, I'm sure, but where do you find flaxseed? Is it in regular grocery stores or just health stores? And where in the store is it? Also, what is better, ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil? I was planning getting the ground seed, but thought I'd ask. Thanks to anyone who knows!
You can find flax seeds in
You can find flax seeds in Whole Foods, Traders, and some major grocery stores might carry them as well. It contains omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein, and zinc and also provides approximately 50% more omega-3 oils than what you could get from taking fish oil. I found some of my favorite cereals contain them so i dont buy a supplement, but if its not bad to try, defiently nutritionally sound. Its also great if you have skin problems like dandruff and exema. plus studies show it helps ward of cancer and lower high blood pressure.
