I thought i'd start a foodie tv/movie thread sharing your favorite show, movies, or all things media related. I know i am still flipping over ratatouille, but i'm also trying to watch top chef weekly (although last season was soooo much better, but maybe its because i had a major crush on last season's winner!). I know No Reservations came out this weekend, but i will stay loyal to the "mostly martha" original verison and not waste my money on the rip off. anyhow, feel free to share!
Next Food Network Star
I'm a sucker for a lot of reality competitions...american idol, project runway...so I kind of got sucked into Next Food Network Star near the end. But it totally fizzled out, none of the contestants were very good.
I really love Unwrapped on the food channel, and $40 a day with Rachel Ray. Both very guilty, cheesy pleasures. I can't think of any movies I've seen about food. Although when I was a youngun, I always drooled over Charlies Chocolate Factory...hehe
Bizarre Foods
If you are remotely engaged by No Reservations, generally enjoy travel shows, or generally enjoy food shows . . . you have to watch Bizarre Foods on the Travel Channel.
O should really start
O should really start watching the travel channel, esp since i travel so often! To be honest, i am rather disappointed at Food Network this year, they are becoming very commercialized. I miss the old Japanese Iron Chef , I miss Ham on the Streets, the Naked Chef, and Dave Lieberman (maybe cause i sorta had crushes on them)

I like Hell's Kitchen! I don't know why, I just love it. And Take Home Chef. That's a super fun show. Anyone else like these shows? Who else wants Bonnie to win it next episode on HK?
