Heinz Reduced Calorie Ketchup!
Ok, i admit it, I am a condiment whore! one of my vices, i slather ketchup, mustard, relish, BBQ sauce, salsa on almost everything. this is can be an unhealthy habit if your not mindful of what the condiments contain. A while back, i reviewed Heinz's "One Carb" ketchup favorably, but was saddened when the line was pulled. I guess demand for a sugar free ketchup was high because they came out with a new "reduced sugar" line which does not differ much in ingredients. A tablespoon is five calories and they are no added sugars. I tastes like regular ketchup to me, but then again i sometimes find regular ketchup too sweet. My one gripe is that it contains artificial sweetners. Westbrae (sold at whole foods) make a pure ketchup without ANY additive. Sure, its a bit blander than this one, but i think its very delicious on burgers and what have you. So overall grade: A-, good flavor, iffy about the artificial sweetness.

I saw this and saw the fake sugar, boo! I'm thinking I should just make my own ketchup with less sugar than the regular, as I tend to find it too sweet as well!

that you put ketchup on your eggs? I do...so much so that when I taste ketchup plain, I feel like I'm tasting eggs. Scrambled, omelettes - whatever. I love it. I think it may be a Jewish thing??

maybe, i did it in my jewish summer camp but everone thought i was a freak for doing so. I eat hummus plain sometimes, i get that from my dad i think oddle enough, i've seen him polish off a tub in from of the computer screen!

You didn't mention in the review but did the ketchup have any sort of artificial aftertaste or was it just too sweet.
I loved ketchup on my eggs when I was younger ,but now I'm into salsa with eggs .

no it was a rather good ketchup, it was sweetened with splenda which tends to not have an aftertaste
