Honey Nut Chex!

Its funny, in believe chex mix is more popular than the chex cereal itself. Chex, like its general mills brother, cheerios, likes to branch out into some new flavors (like the new chocolate chex, havent tried it yet but its on my "to try" list). So i gave the honey nut a shot. Nutritionally, its virtually the same as the other varities, 3/4 cup serving is 120 calories, .5 g fat, 9 g sugar, 2 g protien, and 26 g carbs. Not super healthy but not as sugar laden as other stuff out there. I like that the first ingredient is whole grain rice, i dont like that its followed by, yep, sugar. anyhow, I thought this would taste like honey nut cheerios. I like honey nut cheerios and most of my friends prefer the honey nut over the regular, but i am sooooo in love with the regular (i dont know, i think the honey masks its yummy, oat-y taste). But chex is different, its a lot crisper, more like honey nut corn flakes. It was decent, but dont think it will replace my other favorite healthy cereals that outdo it nutrionally. But not bad for honey nut fanatics. Call me old fashioned but i prefer wheat and corn chex. But didja know chex mix is actually fairly unhealthy despite its labeling that it has less fat than other snacks. Its very high in sodium and suprisingly, sugar.
