Honey Yogurt Peanut Balance Bar!

While on my hiatus from reviewing, I think I’ve developed a
newfound appreciation of protein bars.
They can be lifesavers sometimes.
I’ve been very skeptical about some of them in the past, and I am a firm
believer they are not very good “meal” replacements. But when hunger pangs
creep and its time for a tasty yet nutritious snack, I must say they do come in
handy. And in this new appreciation, I’ve discovered the Honey Yogurt Peanut
Balance bars. One bar is 200 calories, 7 g fat, 14 g protein, 23 g carbs, and
15 g sugar.  It is a bar so yes, there
are some unpronounceable ingredients, but let’s face it, most of the products
we by (even bottled water) has some unknowns in them. It hasn’t killed anybody
yet, so in moderation, I think they are ok. It is actually a good balance of protein,
fat, and carbohydrates for a snack, and can I just say, I love this flavor! The
bar is chewy and peanut-y and it’s perfectly coated in a delicious yogurt-ish
icing of sorts. Sort of reminds me of the yogurt covered pretzels which I have
a HUGE love for. I am going to go with an A-. Some people might be turned off
by the texture, but I personally don’t mind it much and love the yogurt part.
