Tamari Flax Crackers!
December 16th, 2006 by hungry waif

Alrighty, i actually didnt buy these, my dad's girlfriend bought some, although ive never actually seen her eat them because she A. never eats (weird i know, but whatevs...) and B. uses it to make bread crumbs for her daughter's meals cause these are apparently more nutritious than conventional bread crumbs. Well nutritionally, they're alright. 15 crackers have only 110 calories, contain flaz seeds, and are organic. I was pretty disappointed with the lack of fiber though, but for crackers it has a decent amount of protien (3 grams). they have a nice, tamari flavor to them and i love tamari so it was tasty to me, but i know people who cant stand the stuff so i guess it depends on your taste. The flax gave it a nice nutty undertone too. not sure if ill shell out the extra bucks for this organic snack, but in the meantime, i'll just sneak a few from the "breadcrumb" box.
I have 2 cracker suggestions for you. 1, Kashi Honey Sesame crackers are by far the most amazing crackers ever. So good! 2, the second most amazing cracker ever is Kr Kracker. Not sure if you've heard of them, if you haven't they have flat breads and crackers. The flat breads run about 100 calories each, have tons of seeds on top, 3-4 grams of fiber and 4-5 grams of protien. They're also really yummy. http://www.drkracker.com
