Theres an interesting story to this review, my last day of my culinary finals ended early (i did VERY well suprisningly! yay!), so i thought I would make up not seeing my dad on his birthday, which was last week, by taking him out to the movies.  Anyhow, we saw "Juno" which is probably one of my favorite films of the year (that and Ratatouille!).  If you've seen it, you can probably understand that I really want a hambergurger phone now, but I guess the movie has cause such a hamburger phone craze that amazon and other online stores are completely sold out of them! But the sweet movie inspired me to review another item, tic tac bold.  For those who havent seen it (dont worry, this isn't like i am giving away some integral part of the plot), Juno's best friend and incidentally, the father of the fetus growing beneath her, is obsessed with tic tacs. Not just any tic tacs, tic tac bold.  I wonder if tic tac gave this film any sponsership, because they actaully pop up quite a bit.  Right so back to tic tac bold, they are bigger than you average tic tacs and hence a bit more calories in regards to the notorious "1 1/2 calorie" dept.  Not that this should be troubling, its a mint, after all, I hope no one expects there to be super vitamin fortified healthy mint out there.  Mints are mints, dont rely on them as meals and dont sub them for popcorn.  I expected it to be fruity and tangy in the chemical way like warhead and sour patch kids, but these actually taste somewhat, um natural? dont know if thats the right word, but they dont taste too chemical-y or artificial, just pleasantly tart and fruits. I like em! no wonder Juno's dorky friend (played by Michael Cera, who is my new celeb crush) pops them into his mouth non-stop.  And the fit so nicely in my pocket or purse! no like altoids which i can't just slip into my jeans.  Portable, fruity, bold, and now with movie star status.
