Walden Farms' Caramel Dip!
September 2nd, 2006 by hungry waif

ok, Walden's is infamous for giving a lot promises on most of their products. "Calorie Free", "Carbohydrate Free", "Fat Free", "Sugar Free"....its endless really, and one begins to wonder what is actually left of the product, and most importantly, is this even yummy?
So naturally, when i purchased it, i was very skeptical. Would i taste a horrible, sugar substitute over tone of this product that calls it self caramel? But, to my VERY pleasant suprise, it tasted not just good but DAMN STUPID GOOD. Better than the real thing I tell ya. There was NO fake sugar after taste what-so-ever, and the texture matched the smooth and creaminess one would expect from caramel. all this delicious taste for literally no guilt! I wouldn't eat this on its own (i wouldn't recommend eating ANY actual food item calling itself calorie free on its own, i mean the chemicals that make it that way would seem like an overload if that happened). Its really great with dipped fruit like apples, stawberries, peaches, pears, etc.. and even on whole wheat rice cakes or toast. I've also had it mixed with some generally bland cereals like puffed wheat and all bran. I cant express my love for this product enough! Not many stores have it, I've seen it in a handful of specialty diet stores around L.A., but they are available on line are ( http://www.waldenfarms.com/cfdips.htm) completely worth getting.
online, they cost $3.99 Per/Container but dont forget the $8.95 Shipping/Handlingfor each 1 to 10 Bottle order. So if you are going to purchase it online, i suggest getting a lot of em so you wont have to re-order and pay the shipping fee every time. Happy dipping!
This caramel rocks!! its really good if you dip alternative pita into it.
I haven't tried the caramel dip yet, but I've tried their cal-free salad dressings. They were great! My local supermarket carries the dressing, so I might have to check and see if they have the caramel dip. Caramel dip + golden delicious apples = heaven
i'm glad to read a review on this stuff cause i've been wanting to try it and other walden farms, but i have to order it online to get it here and that's pricey for something that might suck!
Marshmallow Dip
Has anyone tried this? I love marshmallows and wanna try but curious if anyone has yet
o yes!!!! i love it...sm a
o yes!!!! i love it...am i hearing a review request???
Yes!
Yes!
Call me strange....
but I thought this stuff was nasty. However, I did not try the dip chilled so I'm giving it one last chance. I've wanted so much to love this brand (syrup, ranch dressing, etc.) but always end up chucking it and going for a slightly more caloric version like sugar free syrup (10-30 cals a serving depending upon brand) or fat free ranch. Same with those Tofu Shiratake things that try to pass as noodles.....I would have to be starving to eat that stuff!
your not strange, hell i
your not strange, hell i dont like most of waldens dressing Iinfact, i think i dont like all of them), but i think their syrups are decent. besides, i make my own healthy dressing.
